Some of the alzguard device's key features
A Geofence is a virtual perimeter on a geographic area using a uses location-based service, so that when the geofencing device enters or exits the area a notification is generated. The notification can contain information about the location of the device and might be sent to a mobile telephone or an email account.
A GPS tracking unit is a device that uses the Global Positioning System to determine the precise location of a vehicle, person, or other asset to which it is attached and to record the position of the asset at regular intervals. The recorded location data can be stored within the tracking unit, or it may be transmitted to a central location data base, or internet-connected computer, using a cellular, radio, or satellite modem embedded in the unit. This allows the asset's location to be displayed against a map backdrop either in real-time or when analysing the track later, using customized software. Such systems are not new; amateur radio operators have been operating their free GPS-based nationwide realtime Automatic Packet Reporting System since 1982.
Real Time Locating Systems, according to international standards, are used to track and identify the location of objects in real time using simple, inexpensive nodes attached to or embedded in objects and devices that receive the wireless signals from these tags to determine their locations. RTLS typically refers to systems that provide passive collection of location information. According to ISO/IEC JTC1 SC31 and the accepted standard ISO/IEC 19762-5 an RTLS is a combination of wireless hardware and real-time software that is used to continuously determine and provide the real time position of assets and resources equipped with devices designed to operate with the system.
